It totally depends on what kind of connections you have available. Most newer computers and T.V.s have HDMI. In which case just run the cable and select the tv as the monitor in display settings. If you are using older hardware than the way to connect is via S3 or Composite. You have to have a video card and tv that support this. So it really boils down to the connection types you have on your pc video card and on your tv. They have to match or allow of a converter connector. Without more information there is no better answer. A pic of the video card connections and the type/model of tv and it's connectors would help a lot.
