Nikkor Lenses are the main reason to use Nikon products. Nikon produces exceptionally advanced cameras, and, it all boils down to their fantastic optics when making a picture ! F 1.8 is more than wide enough for 99% of portrait photos, and a $ savings over a lens such as the F 1.4.

Will the Nikon - Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G AF-S Lens work properly on a D90?
I have a D90 camera. The lenses are DX. Will this lens function properly on the camera? What is the difference between the DX and other lenses?
