What's great about it: Quiet, easy to use, lots of options
What's not so great: no end of cycle signal
We bought this model after going through two Maytags in the last 10 years. It's definitely the quietest washer we've ever owned. There are more options than I think we would ever use. The controls are easy to understand and knobs operate smoothly.
This product is or has... A great water saver, All the cycles I need, Energy efficient, Big enough capacity for a comforter, Acceptable level of noise, Doesn't vibrate my house, Great at getting tough stains out, Easy to use controls

Is the tub and drum stainless steel? It says so but one reviewer said it was plastic.

The drum on mine is stainless steel and the agitator is white plastic.

How loud is this washing machine?

How loud is this washing machine? Is there a decibel specification? Thank you.
It is much quieter than the last two Maytag machines I owned. Couldn't find anything about decibels in the doc provided.

why is this washer loud during spin cycle?

Mine is much quieter than the last two Maytags I owned. Maybe you have it overloaded or an out of balance load.
