The drive works as intended. USB 3.0 seems fast as usual on my laptop. I have transfered all files from a small 500GB WD which has been pretty reliable for me over the past few years. No WOW factor but no problems as well. I've only been using it for a week now so hopefully it last a few years as I usually put a beating on my portable hard drives. I plan to place a good number of Virtual Machines on it and DVD-Videos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How Much Will It Hold?

I want to store my entire CD collection in here. Any idea how many CDs it will hold? I have Approximately 468.
Yes it should fit all the CDs. Especially if you store them in a digital format that uses a bit of compression and not in WAV format...I prefer OggPCM for Linux or ALAC (Apple) or a high bit rate MP3 is okay too. FLAC would be another option.
