What's great about it: Provide higher internet speed via wifi
What's not so great: The WIFI range won't cover large house or large APT
Well, I used the internet provider wifi device which was free from them but my problem was the wifi range was low and the internet speed was slow even though by cable the speed was good. Me and my family we use over 9 devices daily that work only with WIFI and we always suffer from the speed and low range. But, after I bought NETGEAR - N750 the problem was solved !! and the internet is very good even outside my APT we live in medium size APT which suit the device performance so well. However, I don't recommended it to have it in large house or APT but you can add extra $30 to buy the other version of the same NETGEAR to provide large range houses.

what are my options for wireless
I recently moved and have shared wireless provided through my complex but am getting very poor if any wireless signal. I have my own router but no Ethernet ports. I had considered getting a wireless extender but I wasn't sure it would work since I don't actually have access to their router. Is there anything else I could do besides paying a provider each month for internet?
Well my friend you need to buy Linksys - N600 or any devise that do the same purpose. The installment is less than one minuet by just plug it to the electrcety and that's it. This devise will make a connection to the wifi source and extended to your APT and even cover it all with better internet quality so if you said it's poor signal then this device may make it from medium signal and sometimes to good signal depends on where you live. I recommend to buy it new so you can return it if you see there is no different and useless. However, you must know that most of the shared internet is usually low speed, no one want to give you high speed internet for free, if so then they will make sure to extend it to all the complex. I advise you to have your own internet service it's always better.

My laptop doesn't have a disk drive......... How would I install a new wireless router without it......
Most of the new routers can be installed immediately just connect them and check the back of it to know the name of your wifi and the password. The CD is just for more options and to change password, however Google your router device and what is the link to the browsers that make you able to make changes with out the CD. If you still want the CD then try to find it downloadable.

What wireless router should I buy for multiple PC gaming?
Well, I'm a gamer and I play online BF4 and at home we use over 9 devices everyday that work with wifi which make your play experience not good. However, I bought a new router recently NETGEAR - N750 it is really good and satisfy the need the price new from BestBuy I believe ~ $90 however you might find it cheaper for used one online. But, I assume that you know most of the PC gamers use internet cable over wireless, it's always better, try to buy long cables if this is your main issue.

What modem & router do I purchase with comcast phone, TV, internet bundle?
Usually they combine the modem & router in one device but for odd reason they sometimes separate them because the modem is the source of internet and the router is for WIFI but won't work with out the modem. However, the good news most of the internet providers companies will give a free modem+router to the customers, otherwise their phone, TV, internet service won't work. I advise you to call them about it, believe me they should fix it for you for free.
If you still want to buy them then I advise you to buy one devise which is both modem & router. But, I recommend to call them first before buying just to make sure and so you don't have to waste money.

2nd router for home
I was wondering, can 2 routers can be in the same house? I currently have a router through my cable company but the wifi does not cover the whole house. My TV room has very little, sometimes no wifi at all. Can a 2nd router be installed in my TV room? I would love to have one to streamline movies/video from my Roku & Amazon.
Currently I have two different wifi with two different names and passwords which they work at same time in my APT. I used the one which came from the internet provider and I bought another WIFI router devices with long cable so it work via the main router which is the internet source and connect it with the new device and worked with no problems. For me the new device which I bought is way better, so the answer to your question yes you can have two routers at once.
