This works great to allow us to hook a second monitor up. Easy installation and worked right the first time. Did not work with DisplayLink software though (attempting to set up 3 monitors), so if you have a docking station or another adapter that relies on that software keep in mind you can only use one or the other.

Well this is a throwback to my youth, back when we used to carry dozens if not hundreds of CDs in the car, before the advent of digital media. However, having a DVD player in the family vehicle meant that the kids wanted to watch movies, and we often didn't have "the right one." So we got this and put a bunch in where they're secure in the soft lining and don't get scratched. Kids get a choice of what to watch, so they're happy. No arguments from the kids means the parents are happy as well.

Will installing a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card on this work with no additional mods (power supply, etc)? I'm looking for a VR capable (Oculus specifically) PC around $1,000 but NOT a gaming-specific rig, so I'm looking at this and adding the GC?
I don't recall what PSU is supplied with the machine, but I remember looking inside it and thinking that if I were using it as a gaming machine I'd definitely grab a higher quality, higher output PSU as well. I'd budget another 50-60 bucks for one if you're still thinking about it.

Will this work for audio production? Is this a good computer that runs smoothly and fast and just plain great?
Yes, it should work well. I can't think of any audio production suites that leverage the missing discrete GPU (not saying there are none) but considering some of the older, slower stuff I've run Fruity Loops, Ableton, and Reason on, this should work very well.

Is Windows installed on the HDD or SSD on this machine? Ideally I'd like the OS and other frequently used programs to be on the SSD for speed, and use the HDD, and externals, for media storage. If it's NOT installed on the SSD is it possible to "move" it?
