What's not so great: could be nice if it had faster speeds. they vary a bit
really great for what i needed it for. would prefer it, if my internet was the bottle neck and not the device. but that is only a problem when i am trying to push the absolute maximum speeds from my internet. so over all not a problem and 99.99999% of users will never see this problem.
so over all a great product. with slight upgrades i would love it to death. no real complaints.
NETGEAR - Powerline 200 Mini Ethernet Adapters (2-Pack) - White
These NETGEAR Powerline 200 XAVB1301100PAS mini adapters plug into most power outlets, so you can easily extend Ethernet network connectivity throughout your home, delivering Web access to desktops, gaming consoles and other devices.
How much electricity does this use?
I was told that since this uses power lines, it will add electricity costs and I'd like to know if that's true, and if so, how much.
Thanks.
while anything electronic will consume power (even when turned off) i would not expect this device to consume very much power at all. it may even use less power than a standard network router would consume. in the large scale of power usage these will not be something worth worrying about.

How many adapters can be used at once?
If you already have a pair of these in use, can another pair be used only as "receivers" and/or combined with other power line adapters? I'd like to set up another wired, and one wired/wireless hub
as i have com to understand it you should be able to add on more adapters to your home. but i am not sure if it will automatically detect and sync or any real details. however the more adapters you add to the network the slower maximum data flow as the signal is being split in may directions across the same wires.
