We had another Hoover model previous to this one. The "guts" were good but the canister assembly was pretty cheap. Hoover has done it better this time, all the external components feel much more solid. Hopefully the internal mechanicals are as good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

the stair cleaning attachment doesnt go around. I have it in the down position

the hose is not blocked...cannot find the problem
The stair cleaner isn't powered. The wheel only turns due to suction in the hose. This is a letdown, and i imagine the cosmetic "spinning wheel" actually reduces suction on the carpet.
