What's great about it: Fits like a glove!
The cover for the Surface Pro 2 fits very snug to the tablet and was very easy to install. We would recommend that you purchase a cover for this product along with the protection screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great product, easy to navigate and use.
What's not so great: Learning how to use the product is up to you.
The Surface Pro 2 was purchased for our college student. The product is used for studies, notes, research, drawings, internet, and is compatible with a Lifescribe pen/program and music. The product was user friendly when adding programs, but did require some time to research what additional programs that would be needed such as microsoft office and others. We did purchase a keyboard/tablet cover and a screen protector to provide additional protection. This product should meet all of our college students needs for at least the next two years.
This product is... responsive touch screen, easy to set up, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate
About me... Basic web surfing & emails, Parent with kids, Business Professional, Comfortable with technology

Yes it is, you just have to turn it on.

Office 2007

can i download my Office 2007 to the Pro 2
We purchased new software for the Surface Pro 2 from Microsoft Office, but it we would have had the software available we could have downloaded it to the Surface. You should not have any difficulty dowloading your Office 2007.

When you open it, how long does it take to boot up?

Does the Microsoft Surface boot up as fast as an iPad? Does it get to applications as fast as an iPad?
We also have an IPad and the Surface Pro 2 is just a quick to boot up and connect to the Internet. It has many other features that the IPad does not offer.
