I saw the movie in the theaters, so I already knew it was great and wanted a copy for myself. However, I had no idea that the blue ray version was jam packed with hours of behind the scenes footage and extras about the making of the film. It took me two days to get through all the extras and I think it was more than worth the price.

This Sony camcorder is the prefect size and weight for everyday shooting. I use it for weekend trips and holidays and occasionally to pal around with friends. It takes decent photos too. The only place its lacking in is low light shooting. but I don't do a lot of low light shooting, so I'm okay with it. Love this little Camera

What's great about it: Great movie
What's not so great: Needs a sequel
Its great to see a Disney movie about relationships between sisters. For the first time its not all about getting the guy / girl. And there is no real villain just people making bad choices. Its a Disney movie for this generation. Plus the music is fabulous.

can you turn lcd screen off while recording to save battery?
I use it on a tripod so once its set up I dont need the display.
No, as far as I can tell. opening the LCD screen actually turns the camera on.
