I hooked this to a Samsung 50" UHDTV and the sound from the sound bar and the sound from the TV were about the same. Both project the sound across the fellowship hall of our church. It was easy to hook this up and looks good on the TV stand.

Needed a better picture to stream live on Facebook. The picture is clearer than the other camera and it picks up the audio without issues.

We needed something to help keep an eye on the property when no one is around. Only problem we have is the remote viewing on the cell phones. This feature doesn't always work.

I need it to record from 10 ft away and upload it to YouTube or YouTube life I need it to be as simple as that.

We use it to live stream on Facebook. It's mounted in the back of the sanctuary and zoomed in. If you would like to see how the picture is and you can get on Facebook, look up peoples community cme church and look at the videos.

I have a 8 channel camera set but only have four camera but got the Dvr so if I wanted to add camera can I add two of these to it?

Yes. If you have an eight channel then you can have ever up to eight cameras.

What is the distance of the night vision camera

Instructions say up to 100' and I believe that is correct. The only thing is the further away, less detail in the dark.

Are these cameras analog or digital? I want to be able to see license plates numbers from a distance.

Digital, but you will not be able to see the plate clearly at the dinstance. I was able to get the plate on a vehicle as it got closer and do a snapshot of the plate and car.

please explain how these cameras would be connected to a cell phone & does it come with what is needed to connect to a cell phone

You download an app to view the images. The system has to be connected to WiFi so that it sends out the data.

I want to give this as house warming gift to my parents back in india. Is it a good option? what are the additional things i shud get with this?

Depending on their knowledge of technology, it's a good gift if that's what they are looking for. As for additional, a monitor of some sort to help with set up. A TV or computer can be used. Depending on distance, you may need to purchase additional cable. Each camera comes with 60' of cable.

How easy or hard to install? I need it to watch my mailbox on street because the neighborhood hoodlums r putting stuff in my mailbox & want to catch them in the act. This may be a crazy question but I have a DVR thru Dish can it work w that?
