I bought this for my college freshman son, and he's been happy with the system from the beginning. Although it has an i3 instead of an i5 or i7, the system can still handle several open apps at once with ease. The 6GB of RAM is more than enough to handle Windows 10, and multiple apps simultaneously. We both like that this laptop still has a CD/DVD ROM, and this comes in handy for some of classes
The build quality is better than that of the comparable models from Asus, Lenovo, and HP. Dell has excellent customer service should I need some assistance which Geek Squad doesn't offer.

I bought an Xbox360 for my kids last year, and we've enjoyed hours of fun as family with the Kinect and many games. I debated waiting for the Xbox One X, but decided to buy the One S instead, and I'm not disappointed with that decision in the least. The 4K and HDR look amazing on my TV, and the gameplay is extremely smooth.
Extras: The free download of Madden 18 made this purchase a no-brainer, but the extras kept coming. I received Forza 5, Battlefield 3, and Ryse: Son of Rome free as part of my Xbox Live membership. I also have Games For Gold, and that gave me several more free titles. A few of the games which I had previously purchased from the Xbox store on the 360 were backwards compatible, and I was able to download those on the new system. I haven't tried out the HD Blu-Ray capability yet, but I will soon.,
Drawbacks:
1. Uses a huge amount of disk space- If Microsoft were to make a compression utility available in the Xbox store I promise that the number of downloads for said software would crash their server farm. Between the OS, poor native disk management, and bloatware, the 500GB HDD fills up way too quick. I decided to buy a Western Digital 4TB USB HDD for roughly $109, as opposed to the 2TB Seagate they keep right by the Xbox One S displays for roughly the same price.

Prior to purchasing this headset I used my Bluetooth earpiece to take all of my conference calls. The problem with my Bluetooth was that it would cut in and out, or disconnect it from phone or PC. Now that I have the Logitech headset I don't have those annoying issues, plus the sound quality is superb. I can now use Skype for Business on my laptop to dial into con-calls, and I no longer need to dial into the audio line for Webex and Goto Meetings.

I've purchased a total of 7 of these for my children ages 5-12. Below are the pros and cons based on our experience.
Pros:
1. Price: It's a pretty sturdy tablet, with surprising performance, given the $49 entry level price.
2. Apps: There's a great selection of apps available at a reasonable price. Outside of the more popular games, our kids have taken a liking to the "Learning Games" series. They have "Kindergarten Learning Games" all the way up to the sixth grades version.
3. Alexa: It makes sense that Amazon would add support for their flagship AI at some point, and it works well.
Cons:
1. Storage Hog: We noticed that every child's tablet was using the same amount of storage regardless of what they actually had installed on it. When you use Amazon's "Freetime Unlimited" it caches every child's profile, and shares it across every device. This chews up storage space quickly if you have multiple children.
2. Browser: The browser only became an issue when we learned (the hard way) that it isn't supported by the Wi-Fi on planes.
Overall not a bad device, just a few kinks.

Decent Router For the Price

I've purchased several Cisco/Linksys products in the past and have been satisfied with them for the most part. This particular router did not meet a few key requirements that I have. I am an IT professional (High Performance Computing), so I know that I can be a little persnickety about certain things, but I will be fair in this assessment.
Pros:
1. We do a lot of streaming media in our house with Roku's and PCs and the router handled that just fine.
2. It was easy to set up out of the box, and the software was not too shabby. The configuration of the firewall of also rather easy and straightforward.
3. The 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports on back were convenient as well.
Cons:
1. There was an issue with the PCs consistently losing their Wi-Fi connection to this router. Evert two or three days I would have to power cycle the router in order to reestablish connectivity with PCs. Even then it might take several attempts before the network would show up as Home instead of unknown or Public. I checked o see if the DHCP settings were configured improperly, but that wasn't the issue. This problem occurred with Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, CentOS 7.0, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4. I still haven't figured out the root cause.
2. Had difficulty with Guest access working as it was advertised.
3. Accessing my Network Attached Storage (NAS) was slower than it should have been.
Overall: This router performs about as expected considering its price. I have since moved to an ASUS brand AC router, and am pleased with that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
