What's great about it: looks good, price
What's not so great: shallow component spots. Can't plug unused cable access holes
purchased on Black Friday to hold new 65" TV. Fairly simple to assemble (took about 1.5-2 hrs solo). Had a problems with an old school CD changer fitting in the cabinet with the back put on. Needs plugs for the cable access, you can see through the holes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Size, picture, price
What's not so great: Only 2 HDMIs
Purchased this TV during Black Friday. It doesn't have tons of features (it'll not a "smart" TV) but I wasn't looking for one as I have a Playstation for connecting to the internet and streaming video. It only has 2 HDMIS connections so you'll need a receiver if ouch have more than 2 HD devices you want to connect to the TV. Overall, great TV for the price if you don't care about native apps.

What's great about it: increases output when using the iPad for work, much easier to send longer emails. Easy to pair, added protection
What's not so great: kind of bulky, but it is supposed to also protect the tablet
So far the Logitech keyboard has worked as advertised with an iPad2. The physical keyboard has very nice keys that make typing longer emails a much better experience. The keyboard was easy to pair and the batter seems to last a long time (I charge it about once every 1-1.5 weeks to be safe). It is a little bulky, but it supposed to added additional protection to the tablet, although I haven't dropped it yet to report on that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can this device be plugged directly into a USB port on a TV or is a HDMI port necessary? The answer seems to be no but I can find no straight answer anywhere
it goes into HDMI and can be powered through the USB. The end of the Chromecast itself is HDMI

Getting rid of cable, can I get local live stations?
can I get local live stations? via PC/wifi with this?
You'll need a digital antenna to receive local stations. Chromecast does not do this but is an expensive way to get to Netflix and other web based content.
