Excellent build quality and no lag when it comes to opening multiple programs. Can get a bit warm but that's understandable considering its all aluminum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I put the chromecast in my laptop to stream, or is it only for streaming from a TV?

The Chromecast streams TO the tv. It links with wifi through your device...whether it's your phone, tablet or computer. Hope this answers your question.
