Bought this antenna because we were tired of paying more than $100 a month for cable service we didn't use. We installed this in our attic and simply reversed most of the splitters in the existing cables. We are about 38 air miles from the Philadelphia market and between that and the NJ PBS stations we are picking up more than 35 channels. I'm seriously considering moving this outside to a chimney mounted mast. Fortunately, the stations we can pull in are all within about 20 degrees east to west of each other. The picture and sound quality far surpass that of the expensive cable company. We have 6 tuners hooked to this antenna (one is computer with TV tuner) and all pull in the major networks plus Fox and others. 30 years ago, when cable was $17 a month for a much better picture than the old OTA signals, I couldn't wait to sign up. Now, the OTA digital picture is so much better. Coupled with Netflix and Roku, this provides more than enough choices. I hope to never have to go back to paying for TV again.

What's great about it: Programable, timer function
What's not so great: Can leave tea leaves behind, the price.
Purchased this tea maker after getting hooked on loose-leaf tea from Teavana. It's great in that you can program the water temperature to within a few degrees of recommended brew temperatures. Nice to be able to make a whole pot. While I was excited about the moving tea basket, I now pretty much leave it off, as it cuts down on the amount of time your tea spends in the water if you are making less than 32 oz of tea. Plus if you are making more than 32 oz, the basket gets totally submerged, which allows too many smaller tea leaves to escape out the top. Also the screen on the pouring edge could be finer, and a better fit to the edge of the glass. I often pour through a coffee filter if we have too many tea leaves floating after brewing.
I have not found cleaning the basket to be much of a problem, but cleaning the pot can be as it's somewhat difficult to get all the areas behind the basket post clean.
Had I not had $125 in gift cards, I never would have purchased this at full-price. While we do enjoy our pot, I would not purchase again at this price.

Philadelphia ABC Channel 6 difficult to get
Saw a review by Scott in Downingtown, PA. We live in Malvern PA... ABC on low VHF... cannot find an antenna (budget friendly and simple to set-up for a widowed friend) that gets it? Do you get it with this one?
Mary, that channel is always difficult to pick up. We have an RV and it's my favorite channel, but far too often we can't get 6. Check out www.antennaweb.org Put in your address and the map will show you how to point your antenna for the stations you want to pull in. It shows all three major networks at 100 degrees from Malvern - pretty much due East.

do I still get the weather channel,history,and documentaries etc.
No, this only picks up over-the-air broadcasts. If you want to watch the cable networks you mentioned, you will need to stream via the internet using SlingTV, Roku or Hulu. But they all cost $. I prefer to keep my TV free and learn to watch other things.
