Chromebox is amazing! Add an inexpensive wireless desktop and you have the most amazing net browsing machine available. with office 365 and google docs, this can all but replace a clunky pc. Perfect for Netflix, too!

This wireless desktop combo is great for the price. Nothing too fancy, but a nice keyboard and a comfortable mouse. I am disappointed that there is no back or forward button on the mouse. I understand this is a price point model, however, this should be standard functionality.

This chromebook is great - not going to replace your pc, but it is a great net browsing tool. If it can be done with google chrome, the chromebook can do it. This was a gift for my father (62yrs) and it is a simplistic machine that does what most need done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I use a Chromebook to set up a wifi network?

The Chromebook will be my only computer . Can I set up a wifi network with it or would I need a "real" computer to set up the router?
depends on the router.
if you can access it via the ip address, you should be fine.
or just use the password that came with the router and you won't have anything to set up.
