It takes power from USB port, which is also the mouse and keyboard inputs.

It's got all inputs that you need. 4 hdmi and 5 av inputs. It also has many sound settings for surround and tone control. One touch remote control makes it more intuitive to use, plus more controls to suit your preference.

Great sounding bass from a small bookshelf speaker. I bought 4 of these plus a TS1 center speaker also from Polk Audio. That's 5ch, and I don't feel the need for a subwoofer.

My older computers have the USB-1 ports I think. Will that make a difference in hooking them up?

Connecting iphone

I bought these last Spring for my daughter. The salesman said there was an accessory I could purchase later that would allow her to listen to music from her iPhone through the speakers wirelessly. Do you know what that might have been? Thank you.

No. You need an amplified output to drive these speakers, such as a receiver or audio amplifier.
