What's great about it: Awesome sound.
What's not so great: It's not portable.
I got this on sale for almost half price. I had been looking for an upgrade to my old table top unit so I jumped on this unit. it was very easy to set up and worked as advertised. I really like the blue tooth feature since my phone is not tied to the device. Since I have a Samsung Galaxy S3, it was compatible with the unit, but I had to download a free app to my phone.
The remote works great and you can have a hardwired music source and your Bluetooth device connected simultaneously. The remote allows you to switch between sources.
It has a high gloss finish which looks great but could scratch easily. The owner's manual even warns you about it.
As far as music quality goes, it sounds great even at high volume.
I am very pleased with it.

can you hook up extra speakers?

No, there is no provision to add extra speakers.

Is this dual voltage?
The power adapter which plugs into the wall will handle 100 to 240 Volts.
