This vacuum is pretty awesome for my needs! It is lightweight and works on my wood floors as well as my area rugs (has a switch to do one or the other). I keep it in a closet and grab it as needed, instead of lugging out my canister one. Use it quickly because the charge lasts maybe 15 minutes. I will prob see about buying another battery to have as a backup for more usage time. Love that it is cordless! Buy one! Great for picking up litter, cat hair, crumbs, etc.

portable lightweight vacuum cleaner Hoover!

I am looking for a lite vacuum cleaner that can do my carpeted stairs!
This would be lightweight enough to do stairs but not sure it could get really close to the sides.

How much does the vacume weigh?

how much does the vacume weigh?
I'm not real sure but I would guess 5-10 pounds? I am 62 and have a bit of arthritis in my thumbs but I have no problems using this vacuum.

How long does it take to charge the battery

After we have used the vacuum til the charge is gone (15 mins?), it takes about an hour to charge again. There is a light on the charger that lets you know when it is ready.
