This was purchased as a replacement for a keyboard and mouse no longer manufactured br Logitech. The RF and Bluetooth options I found attractive and I installrd with Bluetooth. The keyboard "wave" format took a while to get accustomed to, but now I find it quite comfortable in use. A good solid replacement combo. ****q

Tracing to my experience in purchasing new software versions, I opted to subscribe to the annual edition of Office 365 rather than purchase the Full permanent package. So far, with the successive updates being downloaded to my computer I am please with that decision. The 365 version is complete with some elements I am not using at present. It is a good product and will undoubtedly get better with time and experience.

The Surface book is the best notebook computer I have ever used or owned. It is sleek, attractive, robust, lightweight, and powerful. I have not even used all features yet such as the pen, but truly love the absolute versatility of the touch screen, true keyboard, ability to detach the screen and have a powerful full featured tablet/pad in my hands. Accolades to MS for a great product.

Overall I rated this item as *** stars. The only deficiency I found is that the corner "secure tabs" (plastic) on expanding elastic bands are very fragile. On the very first insertion of my Samsung 10.1 Pad the upper right tab broke. Although the Pad is relatively secure still, the manufacturer needs to increase the density of the plastic of these tabs to ensure non-breakage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having utilized surge protection devices only heretofore to handle power surges, following our move to South Florida, I find it necessary to again revert to UPS battery backup power supply, inclusive of ample surge protection. This is the best of both worlds, i.e. power surge remediation plus the provision of backup power, allowing sufficient time for safe "shut down" of critical electronic devices. Having had and having been highly satisfied with APC brand UPS units before, they were my choice this time as well.
