I love this camera. It is way more than I thought I needed, but it has really come in handy! I'm working on my PhD in geology/paleontology and it is really hardy in the field. Rain and dust have not harmed it... yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does camera take panoramic photos? What optical magnification does it have?
With DSLRs, you have to buy a wide angle lens to take panoramic photos.
