i had originally bought a cheaper smaller bag and got it home and found out it would barely hold my camera much less anything else. Went back and bought this one and am very pleased with it. of course it cost more but it's the one designed for the camera i bought. should have saved myself a trip and bought this one in the first place. if you're going to spend a lot of money on a good camera you should get a good bag to protect it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I haven't used it yet but now know i need to. I took some pictures of the moon and because the shutter speed is so slow you can't hold the camera still enough so the picutes comes out funny looking. mine looked like a cat! will definitely use my tripod nexttime.

updated my computer so had to update my speakers because my old ones wouldn't work on the new computer. I like these because i can turn them off and on whereas the old ones were just always on. that's a plus because i don't always need the speakers.

I'm really enjoying taking pictures with this camera. Still learning how to use it but really pretty easy. pictures are coming out great. haven't tried to upload them to my computer or send them to someone but working on that. there are still buttons on it that I'm not sure what to do with but I'll get there. anxious to get a zoom lens - that's what I really want!!

Will this bag hold the Nikon D3300 camera with the extra lens, camera book and extra memory cards/

I would say yes. I have a Nikon D3300 but I don't have an extra lens yet. there is a zipper pouch on the outside where I put my charger and camera book and there is a pocket on the inside where I have cords and extra memory card. there is room in the main area for another lens depending on how big it is. hope this helps!

Will the Nikon D5500 camera fit in this case?

my camera is the Nikon D3300 so I'm not sure but there seems to be plenty of room so in it so could probably hold a little larger camera.
