I just love this product. This is my second Shark vacuum (I had the first one for over ten years). It has some great features and it is easy to use. If it had a cord winder it would be perfect. The tools are easy to use, easy to turn on, and I like the ease of emptying the holder (no bags). It works great on carpet, wood, and tile floors. I am very happy with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No. It does not have a swivel head.

Does this have a brushroll shut off?

Yes. The on/off switch has different stages. You can turn it on for just suction or turn it on for the roller (like on carpet). This is one of my favorite features.
