I had an older model LG washer which vibrated the pedestal a lot. There is absolutely no vibration or noise from my new washer and pedestal.

It's so quiet I had to double check on it several times when I first got it to make sure it was on. Plus there isn't any vibration like one of the older models I had. LG has really improved this machine.
