The Wi-Fi router does have limited range. Once I found a strategic placement in the house, it suited my needs. I don't see much signal degradation when I run speed tests. Overall a good product for the cost for a small to medium sized house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So I connected my router to my directtv cable box but I don't have internet with them, just cable, and I connected everything and it has a connection but no internet, so will I have to get a internet provider in order for the router to work?

You will have to connect your router to the internet connection in your house in order for it to work. DirecTV does not have an internet connection.

I have a centurylink as a server for my computer. I live in a 16 x 60 MH. I have a laptop with my printer right next to it. to install the printer wireless, it states I need a router. they are all in my little office. Will this be big enough for me?

Yes it will be big enough if they're all close together. The router will have to be near your cable modem, or you may have to run a wire from your cable modem to the router if it's in a different location. But this router worked for my house which is a medium-sized house.

Will it work with AT&T

It will, but AT&T offers Wi-Fi on its cable modems standard so you may not need it.
