Samsung definitely did a good job at upgrading this phone that takes great pictures with alot of settings to choose from. It also comes with S-Voice for voice to text or any other command for hands free usage.

Hotspot

Can the hotspot on the S5 be used with the ipad for Internet?

You will have to go to settings on your S5 and scroll to Hotspot and turn it on it can connect up to 10 devices just make sure you have unlimited data to avoid additional charges from your cellphone carrier. Try it and see if your ipad can connect to your phone hotspot.

What is a 2 year extension compared to upgrade?

I am available for upgrade. Would it be an extension or new contract?

Either way you renew your contract because carriers force you to renew contract when you use upgrade discount unless you pay full price for phone. Sprint usually offers upgrade after 18 months on a 24 month contract agreement. If you upgrade before your 24 month contract then you renew it before the 24 month period. If your contract is up for renewal after 24 month period & you upgrade then you are getting a new contract. Always make sure to read fine print & double check the contract before you sign it.
