I'm using component video & audio wire connection to connect up to a 50 inch Samsung TV. I'm getting a clear picture, but no sound. Any suggestions?

use HDMI - it's a way better connection and quality overall, the HDMI cables are not to expensive anymore- rage is like $6 to $20 depending where you go...

I set up the dvd to my tv and it works but the dvds show in black and white when they should show in color. How do I resolve this?

check how you have it set up.... that is usually the case of the problem

What do you do if the DVD player starts freezing up after you've been watching a movie. This does this on every disk, even new ones. It temporarily helps when I pull the disk out, wipe it off and fan it. But soon after does it again.

I would return it or exchange it.....maybe the dvd player itself

Does this DVD player have wifi access, is it able to support netflix ect? If not which model of DVD player should i look at?

this is just a basic model - no frills.... If your looking for WiFi, I would suggest looking for a different model.
