Needed a new refrigerator for our new house, had a side by side before. These new French doors are very nice, no more bending over looking at the bottom shelves. The bottom freezer is the trade off and we find it more than acceptable. The only feature we don't like is that the cool-select pantry drawer requires opening both doors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice Cubes?
How long does it take to spit out the first batch of ice cubes?
Assuming that you ran the cold drinking water until water came out, and a gallon or two more, it should be almost right a way -- a couple of hours at most

My model does not come with the button on the top of the ice bucket for easy removal. How do I remove the ice bucket?
Grab and pull straight out, fairly hard. They could have made this somewhat easier. I pull mine out every day to load a cooler with ice.
If it doesn't go all the way back in turn the augur a little bit.
