Some other reviews mention the corded use as being poorly thought out. I highly disagree. I took a 3 hour flight and this worked great. Not only did the cord work as expected, the flight was nearly silent. The noise cancelation is awesome! While there are some sounds that get through, the flight I was on was the quietest I had ever been on. Now if these would just get rid of the pressure in flying... I would definitely recommend this to others. Very, very worth the money.

I've had the Leveno Laptop for about a month now. Pluses are that it is everything it's advertised to be, it's light, and future forward. However there are significant downsides. The biggest problem in use was poor placement of the right shift key which makes it difficult to get used to entering shift for keys on right side. The biggest design problem is lack of enough vents that don't simply vent into the metal band (which gets very hot). When the fan kicks on, it makes quite a bit of noise and generally it's running 80% of the time. Additionally, the machine will lockup for a brief period of time when it gets too hot. This essentially means the pointer disappears for 10 seconds when this occurs. Haven't read reviews before hand, I don't think the reviews I read did enough to point out these issues. They did mention them but even professional reviews did not make that point clear enough. As a result, while the machine is overall great and fast, it has some significant issues I'm hoping drivers will later fix. As a result, I would suggest paying careful attention to these issues as they are real and will be known within 30 minutes of using the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We picked up Philips - 9" Dual Widescreen TFT-LCD Portable DVD Players before a long trip across the eastern US. Primarily this was for our 2 year old but we got a great bit of usage out of this by our 14 year old as well. The screens are very easy to watch and these are very easy to install or move to another vehicle. They also work indoors which was great. Only improvement I can see is adding an auto load feature for dvd's and/or possibly having them be bluray.
I would recommend this to a friend!

There is no battery in this unit. It needs a separate power supply. It does come with both car and wall adaptors.
