I like iPads.
That said, newer is always better.
New speed.
New smaller footprint.
New image quality.
New larger flash memory.

The plugs have narrow cuffs that fit into

Got this little guy to connect our Mac to the VGA input of any old projector. VGA is super standard and this adapter makes it happen.

What's great about it: wireless connectivity, apple simplicity
What's not so great: limited apps, close friends of apple only!
i'm an apple fan, so this is a no brainer.
we had a roku for similar purposes and its great, but this is a better fit for us. apple makes all my purchases available thru this little portal.
the setup can be easy OR tricky, depending on firewalls.
after living this at home, for "airplay" (sending iOS and laptop screens to the TV) we bought them for classroom use as well. in the business setting we had some firewall issues that made setup slow.
i wish they had apps from competitors - haha dream on.
love the airplay functions. i use them everyday.
