I purchased 2 cameras. Were very easy to set up. I set up wireless and have the app & so does my husband. We can see our front room and kitchen with the push of a button. It's neat to watch my kids from the other room. It doesn't record but you can set it up to send alerts for loud noises. I give B+for easy installation and quality of camera, but for $70/camera it was my price range. Recording camera options were available for about $170.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Yes, you have to download the camera software (hardware I don't know correct term) from dlink website. Unzip the files. Then initiate the run folder, it walks you through setting up a username and password for your camera. Once you have log in in f oration you download the app and enter it in. The app is free
