The playbar checks off a lot of boxes while falling short on a few others. I'll run through a few pros and cons of the speaker:
Pros-
Great sound. Blows away a $250 Samsung sound bar I also own.
Ease of use. Only one connection on the back to hook up (optical cable) means this thing will be up and running in no time.
No remote. I thought I wouldn't like this but I really enjoy not having yet another remote in the living room and controlling from your phone is very easy. It also has really neat Night mode (reduced loud sounds) and enhanced speech modes in the app.
Music. This thing sounds even better blasting out music. It has good bass for a sound bar but it doesn't really stand out until you turn it up.
Cons:
Expensive (subjective but $700 for a sound bar is too high in my opinion)
No sub included. You want room shaking bass? That's another $700 on top of the $700 play bar. Most people will be happy with the bass the playbar puts out on its own but you won't get that theater sound without it. It may be worth it. The sub seems to be the highest rated Sonos product on this site.
Only Dolby Digital support - No Atmos, DD+, nothing. No transcoding on the device. The optical cable could technically support these but since the playbar does not it won't put these sounds out. You could attach a blu-ray player or device that will transcode these but you're still only going to get Dolby Digital. This could be a deal breaker for some.
This is a mixed bag of pros and cons. I purchased this knowing the limitations and I'm still very happy with it. Even with all the things I can list that bother me about it I still find myself thinking about how awesome it is. I have two Sonos play ones set up as surround sound and it really packs a punch. On signals that are not DD, they will provide a simulated surround sound and it's actually pretty solid. What really gets me is the ease of swapping from watching TV to pumping out music (where the system really shines) and it's very easy from the Sonos app. Be warned about the items I mention above. There also seems to be a slight learning curve. I was set on returning all of this and going with a traditional wired set up but I'm so glad I didn't.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been very happy with this router. Routers are a lot like cell phones these days in that you only seem to get about 2 years of good use out of them. While my old Linksys was still going strong, I was starting to see some issues come up. I picked this up on Black Friday and it has been awesome. It has dual 5 GHz bands and a 2.4GHz so it would take a lot of devices to overload this thing. I get a solid signal throughout my 1 story house. I think the best part about this router is the app. You can do just about anything you want through the app and it's all pretty straight forward. It handles updates, device prioritization, restart, guest access, etc. I'm very happy I upgraded.

The Play one is a very good but pricy speaker. It is the smallest offered from Sonos but puts out very solid sound, though a little heavy on the bass (this can be adjusted in the Sonos app equalizer). All sonos speakers are wifi streaming only speakers (2.4GHz only too - no 5GHz). You download the Sonos app and control the speaker through that. You can add all of the popular streaming apps such as Spotify, Pandora, Amazon music, etc. Recently, Sonos has been working with these companies and now you can control Spotify and Pandora straight through those apps without having to open the Sonos app. This feature should be added to more apps in the future. Coming from bluetooth speakers to a strictly wifi streaming speaker took me some time to get used to. There's no auxiliary port, no bluetooth, nothing on the back of the speaker except an ethernet port and a mounting screw hole. After using this for over a month I can highly recommend the play one. It puts out great sound in a compact package. I can only imagine how the larger Play 3 and Play 5 sound. I've got two play ones and the Sonos Playbar. You can create a stereo pair with two identical speakers (play 1, play 1 or play 3, play 3 etc). This plays in separate left and right channels. You can place multiple sonos speakers throughout your house and play the same music through all of them or separate songs on each. I've got the two play ones connected to my playbar as surround sound speakers for my television. It sounds great and I'm very happy with it. You can also hook up an amazon echo device for voice commands if you already have one of those. I highly recommend the Play one and I'll probably add more over time throughout my house as they go on sale.

the player support DOLBY ATMOS?

No. This speaker only supports Dolby Digital. If you try to play a dolby atmos track you will get no sound. You will need a blu-ray player or device that can transcode dolby atmos to dolby digital. I suspect this is because Sonos doesn't have any products with upward firing speakers that would support Atmos.
