This is a great little back-up solution for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Quick and quiet and compact. Easy set-up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this work on a 5 yr old iMac running Yosemite?

I have an older iMac from circa 2009 running the latest version of Yosemite. Will this work? My concern is the USB port. I'm not sure it's USB 3.0.
Backward compatible with USB 2. Should work.
