What's great about it: Start Time, Chrome Apps
What's not so great: Bluetooth Performance
I really enjoy this chromebook. It starts in seconds from cold start or waking from sleep. Syncing from all google accounts works fantastically and it's a great size to carry around. I currently have a Nexus 7 and a Nexus 4. I'm never comfortable typing on the 7 and I dislike the keyboard add-ons.
This product is ideal for the light, portable but still want a full keyboard use. The battery is lasting 8+ hours for me, as advertised. Google user profiles are extremely simple to setup and any apps installed through Chrome will sync down along with everything else!
I have only had one issue. When attempting to stream Pandora radio while using a bluetooth speaker the system performance fails to keep up. I can stream Pandora with wired speakers and see no issues. I do not consider this any kind of deal breaker, but it is something I have experienced.
This product is... A touch pad that works great, A nice compact size, easy to set up, lightning fast

keyboard brightness?

how do i brighten the keyboard to the samsung chromebook?
This unit does not have back-lit keys, so there is no way to brighten them.

Can you work with Excel and Power Point documents on chromebook?

If you upload them into Google Drive from your desktop then you can edit them through Drive. If you download one from the internet directly to your chromebook, I think the chromebook will automatically open it by uploading it to Drive.

Is the Chromebook compatible with a blue tooth wireless speaker like a Jambox?

Yes it is, I use a Braven speaker, but I have had difficulties streaming internet radio, like Pandora, while also connected to my bluetooth speaker. The sound tends to be a little spotty, while if wired speakers are plugged in then I don't see that.
