What's great about it: Sharpness, Clarity, Color accuracy, Dell Display Manager
What's not so great: Nothing
I have had this monitor for a few months now and I am very happy with my choice. I researched long and hard on the benefits of one large monitor vrs two smaller monitors as well as the research of the monitor specifications and user experience with different resolutions and brands. I came to the conclusion that 4k technology was not quite ready yet due to its current screen technology of stitching two 1080p displays together to make one display and also the lack of proper connection options. The current implementation of HDMI is only capable of 30hz and it takes some serious graphics card horsepower to push a decent frame rate at 4k. Even though display port connectors are a good option that can do 60hz I want a proper one screen 4k monitor with no trickery or haphazard implementations just to get functionality. I was coming from 1680x1024 LG wtq bf 22" monitor which is a great display in and of it self. My goal was to be able to look at two web pages at the same time to compare things side by side and other multitasking functions. Two monitors are great for this but then you should also consider what is best for watching videos and playing games. Which leads me two the Dell 27" 2560x1440 monitor.
Being used to my tablet and smartphone displays I wanted to go higher resolution with my pc monitor and while 4k would have been nice the cost of one and the proper graphics card are not so nice. When I found out this monitor had Dells display manager software I decided to give it a try. My reasoning was that one big screen is better for games and video and if the display manager software worked properly then I could have the best of both worlds.
When I first got my Dell U2713HM I was using it with my old HPa6120n computer with an intel core 2 duo e4400 and a Nvidea Gforce 210 graphics card and 4gigs of ram. While things looked good Dells display manager did not work very well with that computer. My computer being 7 years old I decided to build a new one. The new one has the core i5 4570, Samsung 840 Evo ssd, AMD Radeon R7 260x graphics card and 16gigs of Corsair Vengance 1600 ram. Now for some reason the display manager software works perfect and of course all of my pre set to load web pages on Chrome now open up almost instantly where as they used to just spin forever.
When I first got my new Dell display I tested it for backlight bleeding and dead pixels and it was perfect despite it being a A00 manufactured in Dec.2013 the revision many have complained about having issues with. I wonder about the significance of the revision numbers since others have seen A01 and A02 models and the fact mine was made in Dec. 2013 yet still a A00. I have since tested it a couple of more times for backlight bleeding and dead pixels and it is still perfect.
All of the properties you want to see in a great monitor are found in this display from great colors and sharp text to screen brightness and clarity I have not found anything to complain about and I am picky. I have the Kindle fire hd with a 8.9" 1900x1200 screen and the Galaxy Note 3 with a 5,7" 1920x1080 display so I know what it is like to use high resolutiuon screens. Even after using those two items everyday at work I look forward to getting home and using my U2713hm 27" 2560x1440 display and it still looks great in comparison. What does not look good anymore however is a 1080p computer monitor. My wife has a Samsung syncmaster that used to look good to me but now it looks all pixelated after getting use to my Dell.
To anyone on the fence about this display I would not balk at recommending it. When web browsing on some websites certain icons and low resolution pictures look somewhat blurry if you zoom in a lot. However, that issue will soon be a thing of the past because this summer a new technology will begin being implemented in to websites to fix the issue. Even so it really does not bother me anymore. The same websites and images do the same thing on my phone and tablet just on a smaller less noticeable scale. For instance zoom in on the Amazon logo with your smartphone and you will see what I mean. With 4k on its way to mainstream in the future look forward to everything looking fantastic and high resolution 4k monitors costing what 1080p displays do today !

What's great about it: Steller 5ghz band !
What's not so great: Same or slightly less performance on 2.4 ghz as my Linksys wrt400n !
All in all this router solved the problem I set out to solve ! I live in a 2000 square foot two story town home with about four other strong 2.4 ghz signals from neighbors. We started having signal issues and dropping internet connections a few weeks ago and I began trying to solve the problem soon after. After researching and testing I found out I was getting packet loss to the point of a dropped signal on a regular basis. I first bought the new Linksys AC900- EA6200 router. That router had no way to hang it on the wall or stand it up and had only internal antennas like my WRT 400n linksys. After hooking the EA6200 up and testing it I was not impressed with the results and just like the wrt400n I could not get a good 5ghz signal down stairs and the 2.4 ghz signal was not even as good as my old wrt400n. So I took it back and got this Ausus Rt- N66R brought it home immediatley updated the firmware and began finding the best set up. I ended up cascading the Rt-N66R as my main router with my wrt400n as my access point. I now run 4 channels a 2.4 and 5ghz from each router and the Ausus routers 5ghz is far superier while the 2.4ghz is about the same or a little less strong. With the N66R I can achieve my full 50mbps downstream and 4 up sitting at the kitchen table on the first floor on the opposite side of the house through two walls and the floor on my Kindle fire hd 8.9. I put my stepson's computer with the linksys adapter on the wrt 400n's 5ghz and there phones on it's 2.4ghz as well as his PS3. Then I have three computers wired in to the Ausus and I use the Ausus 2.4 and 5ghz for my tablets and phones. Since setting everything up like this I have not has any problems and the Ausus Rt-N66R = Problem solved . I can now stream 1080 P hd video anywhere in the house and never have a problem no matter how many people are using the internet ! If you are in a heavy traffic area this is a good router to get since the 5ghz band has just about as good of a range as the 2.4ghz band. Just use the app called wifi analyzer on Android or IOS to check out your area !
This product has... Fast connection, Dual band, Reliable connection, stellar 5ghz band

I want to know if I could use programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word in with this tablet? Is it already included with the tablet or would it be a separate purchase?

Souds like to me you only need a 16g. I have a 16g micro sd card in my epic 4g and it is a lot of space.
