I have tried several flat screens even when they were plasma screens. This RCA is absolutely the best I have owned yet. I have had this for almost 2 years now and it still works like new.

I would recommend this to a friend!

can I buy a DVR that records 5 shows at the same time without having to purchase the equipment from Direct TV?

We have Direct TV's DVR now, but can record only two shows simultaneously. Would like the ability to record more than two shows at once.

Don't know what your box is capable of. I have Time Warner Cable and they are coming out with something called a HYDROBOX that will be capable of recording 5 shows at a time.

I just bought a sony blu ray player and my tv works perfect but when I watch a blu ray It has a slight fuzzy or grainy look, what can I do?

My tv is a new insignia LCD, it is connected with a monster cable and I'm pretty sure all the settings are set correctly

I had a similar situation when I bought my RCA led flat screen and tried playing VHS"s . I fixed it. try this, go to your TV remote and see if there is an INPUT button on it if so , while the Blue Ray is playing try different input settings. That worked for me.

is it possible to stream a windows media player video straight from a smart tv?

If I open a web browser on my smart tv and search for a sports channel stream that uses windows media player.Could I stream that video or not?

You got me on that one, I watch older TV shows right from my desktop computer, also DVD's on the computer as well although I have a VHS/DVD combo hooked to my TV as well. So I use both.

I need the remote code to program my direct tv remote to control this tv.

A tech. from Direct TV should be able to help you with that one, I had to have a tech from our cable company program the cable remote to my TV

Does the tv have game mode?

i want a tv to play ps4 games but i want one with game mode feature cause it help reduce lag.

Not sure, has a lot of plug-in on the back, it probably does. you can see them in the stores that carry them in stock or just go to RCA.com.
I have never used it for games so this is why I'm not sure.
