What's great about it: Low profile... plug and play with no problems
What's not so great: A bit slower and wider than previous model
Pugged it in and it fired right up with HP desktop and MacBook Air with no problems. Reads and can print directly from camera memory card. Seems a bit slow and groans a bit with photos and pages with a lot of detail, Copy and scan features work properly. Highly rated by CR, but they felt used more ink than others. I'm not a high volume user so ink usage is not a problem... I'm more interested in print quality and this unit does a good job. Haven't tried the wireless yet.

great fm boat radio

What's great about it: excellent reception and sound from water level
had this installed at brainerd store... the speakers are 6" and the old boat speakers were 5"... store did not have tools to enlarge openings so used old speakers... sounds great! I will install larger speakers when I get a chance and hopefully wire up the old ones in addition. Have not tried playing discs, but fm reception is excellent even in my bass boat with the antenna about 1 ft above water level and there is no fading in and out as with old radio. This one locks on and stays locked on to station.

If I buy a stereo off the web site can I go to a local bestbuy to have it installed?
I want to buy the Sony-52W-4 Satelite Radio- Ready Marine in-dash CD deck with 2 speakers in my 2004 chevy aveo...if I buy it off of the web page can I go to the cloeset bestbuy to have it installed in my car?
I think so. I set up apt with service department first (you want to make sure there is an installer available). You will be charged for installation. I purchased in store (was in stock) then simply trotted it over with receipt to installation bay. I think it's a pretty standard radio swap, but not sure about speakers. Brainerd did not have tools to cut larger speaker openings in fiberglass(boat), but may have for rear car decks. You might be able just to swap out rear deck speakers and still utilize other speakers in the car without running new wires. Suggest check with your nearest installation dept.
