I purchased this phone for my 9 year old and did not want to spend a fortune but he is an avid gamer and will use Skype, Netflix and such so I needed a decent phone without spending big $$ as it is his 1st phone so I can only hope he does not drop it the 1st week!
When opening the box I was impressed with the packaging. The phone looks like a Galaxy to my eye...has a good solid feel when holding the phone.
When deciding on this phone I gave lots of thought about adding just a bit more money to get a better phone but decided to give this one a chance based on several facts.
This phone is a bit newer ( release date) VS some others in this price range so I was assured it will do what is needed to give me the best call quality as well as 4G LTE speed on the T-Mobil system. After testing using both wifi calling and using T-Mobil the sound quality is fantastic!

The quad processor in this phone operates at 1.5 GHz when the direct competition runs in the 1.0 to 1.2 GHz range. I was concerned that this phone only has 4GB of internal storage as others have 8GB. I added a 32 GB card I had and all is well.
This camera has a fixed focus lens when the competition has a better focusing lens The camera is not my 9 year olds 1st priority and I have not tested the pics yet but not a priority as it will be good enough for Facebook and such.
This phone has full 1080 video when the competition has 720 so that was a plus for me. I like that this phone has a removable battery when my iPhone does not; thats a big deal IMO.

I decided that a faster processor with better video playback, removable battery for less money than the competition was the deciding factor for me.
I'm a iPhone guy and never had experience with Android but after spending time with this phone I can say I like it! The op system with this phone is smooth, fast, everything loads quickly, I honestly can't find a problem with this phone.
Some reviews complain of the phone getting hot a freezing... My son used this phone for 6 hrs straight and never got hot and is cool when charging.
I have better T-Mobil signal than I do with my iPhone sitting side by side.

What's great about it: Long distance performance.
What's not so great: hard to operate when driving, Upgraded cords and suction cup not included.
I have used Escort detectors for years. I love the performance of Escort but all of my older 8500 units failed just after the warranty expired. I do keep coming back and buy more Escorts as they simply work well when they work but Escort could make them more reliable and last longer IMO.
I purchased this 9500 escort as I drive in the city a lot and thought the fact that this detector would remember the grocery store door openers via GPS and not bug me with false alarms was something I just had to have.
I used the 9500 on a rode trip this weekend and unfortunately my plans are to return it.

I guess I may be set in my ways but I prefer the simple operation of the lower priced 8500x50. I found this new 9500 was difficult to change settings while driving. The less expensive 8500 unit I can reach over and turn the volume up or down, turn it on or off, change from city to hwy with out looking.. I found this weekend I kept pressing the wrong buttons on this unit and I felt I need to stop the car, take it off the windshield to make changes. As I understand this detector has the exact same performance as the lower price 8500 on the ability to detect the radar. This unit does give added features over the 8500 but at a price that I am uncomfortable paying for when I figure in that it is not as easy to operate.
As luck would have it I just picked up a 8500 x50 today on Best Buys deal of the day at less that 1/2 the price of the 9500 unit. So...on my budget I will put up with the beep when passing grocery stores and this 9500 is going back! I do not want to be required to look at a detector to make changes when driving. With the lower priced 8500 detector I can reach over with my right hand and adjust volume or change from city to hwy by feel; I found trying to make changes by feel impossible with this 9500. If I spent more time with the unit would it be easier to operate? I do not know as for example the 8500 has a simple rotary switch that turns it off and turns the volume up and down. Again, can be done by feel. With this 9500 it has a volume button on top along with all the other buttons so when I reached over to try and adjust volume I was changing all kinds of things that I did not want to change.
No complaints on performance as it did save me one time from a ticket!
I will also add that I do not like that Escort does not include the optional better suction cup or the upgraded power cord that allows you to use the additional features available via a smart phone and yearly service fee. I can see the yearly fee but at Escort prices I should get a free upgrade power cord and at least a free trial 3 months of online service ( to see if I like it). What's great about it: Cools great, Nice LED lighting!
What's not so great: Ice maker will drop ice in the floor until you get the hang of it.
I had a 17 year old refrigerator that never turned off and a $300 power bill so I decided it was time to upgrade. My power company offered a $50 credit to change out old units so check with your company as well.
I found this unit at my local Best Buy at a huge discount as it had a dent in the front. I purchased a magnetic calendar to cover the dent and I am smiling all the way to the bank!
I had a few requirements when shopping... A side by side a that fit in my opening, The best price vs cubic foot I could find and I wanted the cool looking LED lighting. I also wanted an energy star unit and one that filtered the water and made ice. I have a large family on a budget and was looking the most cold cubic feet I could find and cannot budget for all the bells and whistles of the very high end units.
This Samsung fit the bill but the deciding factor was the price.
Some reviews state that this unit is not cold enough. I have the freezer a few degrees below 0 and the fridge is just above freezing so I do not see how it could cool any better without being a solid block of ice. My unit works perfect and cools down quick.
Only negative is the ice maker did spill Ice on the floor. However, all you need to do is place the glass tight against the dispenser and give it a second before removing the glass and all works fine.
I do recommend purchasing a fridge/freezer thermometer as that is the only way to properly set this or any fridge temp and will save you money on power and food in the long run and they are only a few dollars. No need to buy the more expensive fridge with digital temp gauge as you still need a real thermometer inside any unit.

What's great about it: Great 800 x 480 Resolution for the price, NICE!
What's not so great: 6 month Warranty; wish it had a year or 2 years like my Insignia TV
1st off I like the “good stuff’ when it comes to photo equipment I own all pro expensive camera gear so I am hard to please. Needed a photo frame for moms Christmas gift and had a small budget and after searching all over the net this product fit the bill. After much research it looked like this frame gave me better resolution than most in this price range and IMO I would need to double my money to get any better. When I loaded it up with pics I was blown away with the look of the frame and the look of my pictures for the price. I think it is the best value of any Christmas gift I have purchased this year. I hope it last as the price was such a good deal? I did decide to turn it in the portrait direction. To avoid any cropped images I just loaded my SDHC card with all pictures I shot it portrait mode and the frame is filled and looks sharp and brighter than all I have seen at this price point. Easy to operate so I am sure mom can handle it!
Excited about my purchase and I am sure mom will love the pics of the grandkids. GREAT GIFT!

All I can say is I use PC's and Macs, I deal with PC's; I love my new iMac!
This computer is super fast, has a sharp 27" display and is great for the home user or offers great power so its great for video editing, graphic arts pros. You can add up to a total of 16 GB of ram to make it a true all in one work horse. Features simply plug and play operation; If you are new to macs all I can say is they "just work" Just plug it in, remember you email passwords and you are up and running.
In the event something does happen Apple has top rated USA customer service.
One thing that I like is that Apple makes the computer and the software unlike a PC so if you have an issue one call will usually fix an issue or answer a questions you may have... again, with a USA call center and friendly educated people to take your call!!
Some reviews say an existing printer may not work with this iMac. That can be true. It is the responsibility of the printer manufacture to keep new software / driver updates available to keep up with the new computers and operating systems that are arriving on the market. Check the printers site to see if updated software is available or it it works with this Macs operating system.
I have found that iMacs hold value better than PC's. if you sell and trade up every few years you may end up with a good portion of the initial investment back that can go towards a new one!
Over all this new iMac is a very fast, solid, reliable work of art!
