What's great about it: It is a desktop, laptop, and tablet rolled into one
What's not so great: learning curve
The Surface Pro 2 with the 512 gig hard drive is everything I want and need. At the office, it sits in it's docking port, and it is connected to a full size monitor, keyboard, printer, scanner, external hard drive (backup) etc. On the road, it is a portable fully functional laptop. It connects with my projector for PowerPoint presentations. When used later, it is a light weight computer, using the keyboard cover. In the evening, it becomes my fully loaded tablet, for music, movies, or any other use that a tablet can be used. The high definition screen makes reading as easy as reading from the printed page.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Perfect for Business, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold

What's great about it: speed, reliability, display
What's not so great: location of the touch pad
I have owned many computers, and this one is truly the most amazing. The processors allow lightnning fast changing from one program to another without crashing. I will have half a dozen programs open at the same time and suffer no slow down. This is just a terriffic machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does not come with the Surface Pro 2 but does come with the Surface

Are there any apps for reading books (ie. e-book readers? Are we able to Access Apps like on a app store?

Yes! Kindle, Nook, and Overdrive, among others are available.
