I purchased this router six months ago replacing a Netgear WNR3700 with consideration to upgrading my ISP to Longmont's Nextlight 1GB fiber optic service. The router was extremely easy to set up. The GUI is extensive allowing you to tailor your home network easily. LAN speed was outstanding as was wireless coverage in multi-level home (w/basement) when paired with my Century link 40/5 service. Just upgraded to Next-light 1GB fiber optics and am even more impressed with LAN and wireless speed and ease of setup. I highly recommend this wireless router. You won't go wrong for the quality and price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Price...$50 less would be the sweetspot. But have admit you get two quality HDMI cables with the product.
Bought this device to stream HD from a DirecTv DVR receiver located in a guest room to an upstairs bedroom that has no DirecTv DVR receiver. Programmed two DirecTV remotes to operate the guest room DVR and then installed MyWirelessTV. Install was simple and quick. Wireless Transmitter & Receiver connected immediately. Brought the second DVR remote to the upstairs bedroom and it operates that HDTV with DirecTV just as if we had a DirecTV DVR setup there. Outstanding solution.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WE unplugged the router & plugged it back in. Now it doesn't work. What do we have to do to get it working again?

Try a hard factory reset. Should be a labeled small pin hole for that. With router turned on use paperclip to depress the reset button for 7 to 10 seconds. The router will reset to factory defaults.

Is this unit compatible with pppoe on linux 14.4

PPOE compatioble for sure with Windows 10. Should be no issues with LINUX

Does this require a land line or cable hook up

It will work with LAN DSL or LAN Cable service.

Am I able to mount this router on a wall?

Yes it is set up for mounting. I have mine mounted on wall behind computer.

I'm looking to replace my old modem. Will this modem work with a wireless printer?

Yes both wireless and USB options are available. I have my Canon PIXMA MX870 connected wirelessly. Plug and play.
