Was a little tricky putting together and setting up. But it brings in 40 channels crystal clear. And I do not have to pay to receive them! If you want to cut your cable, this is the one to buy. If you will be running a long cable from the antenna to your TV (longer than 10 feet), I would suggest that you purchase a powered signal amplifier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How high do we need to mount antenna?

We have weak reception even with the amplifier we only get 5-6 channels. Any ideas on what to do? We are within 50 miles from 3 major cities so we should be getting good signal. We were told to point it north at 30 degrees, is this correct?
I had to mount my antenna in my 3rd floor attic( approx. 30 feet above ground level) to get good reception. If you are at ground level mounting, it does not work so well. I also use a powered amplifier to boost the signal.
