What's great about it: Does not take up much space on computer
What's not so great: It does not catch all threats
I have been using Web Root for several years now as Norton and McAfee take too much control over your computer where Web Root is less intrusive. It is a little convoluted in the set up process and support is a bit harder to contact when needed. Overall, it does the best it can for consumer virus protection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Nothing extraordinary but are a decent cost.
What's not so great: I am aware of nothing.
I purchased these patch cables as I needed some extras but also I needed one to go between my wife’s computer and the wired/wireless gigabit router. Again, I purchase for gigabit connection even though our cable provider does not furnish that service yet but it allows for the fastest connection we can get.
The cables are well constructed, I have purchased Rocketfish cables in the past, and they are holding up very well. I do not have a way to test for loss but for our use, they are fine and do their job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: The things I like are the ease of set up and reliability, gigabit with three hard wire ports, USB port, plus appearance.
What's not so great: Apple should give all trouble shooting options for resetting the units.
There is a bit of history about the wireless routers we have owned to get where we are now. In the beginning, we had Linksys wireless routers and when none of them lasted, I moved to Netgear. The first Netgear lasted the longest but it still was not good after going through four more trying to replace the first Netgear. I had heard a lot about the Apple Extreme plus reading a lot of reviews and talking to other that own them and everything sounded great so we took the plunge and purchased our first one. Every time we lost Internet with the Apple Extreme, it was not the unit but our cable provider. Although it did need to be rebooted every occasionally it worked flawlessly. One morning we woke up, the yellow light was on and there was no Internet so I talked to our cable provider’s support and Apple support all day and we still were down. I decided to get another Extreme not knowing if it was the unit and Apple support set up an appointment for the Apple store so I could have it checked out but that was two days away, in the meantime, I went and purchased the latest version of the Apple Extreme. The set up was easy and we were back on the Internet early evening. The setup is a bit different in that you cannot use the Apple Utility on a PC for any programing. You must have an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad to connect.
In the end it was the Apple Extreme but it was not a catastrophic failure of the unit just a factory reset.
Starting with the other brand routers, I needed a gigabit wireless router to go with our gigabit modem although no Internet provider provides gigabit for regular consumers yet, I still wanted the fastest connection possible.
I expect my two Apple Extreme’s too work for years to come given what others I talked to have told me.
Additionally the Extreme in my opinion should have two ports supporting both a network printer and hard drive for network accessibility.
The new version of the Apple Extreme is working perfectly and so far no issues. I give this product a five star rating as the first Extreme was fine after my visit to the Apple Store as they reset it a different way than what is published for the consumer and it is still going strong.
About me: I am computer savvy and have a good amount of technical knowledge but not a technical expert.
This product has... Fast connection, Dual band, Reliable connection, that it is a gigabit wireless router.

So far I have not had an issue with this unit. It is powering my wife’s computer, cable box, switch, modem and router without any problems. We have not had a power outage as yet but I purchased a different model number of this brand and is working fine and gotten me through two short outages.

I needed this optical cable to connect between the optical output on my TV to the optical input for my converter to analog which drives my wireless head phones. No issues with it. I rated the Durability as high but all optical cables need to handle with care and placed where nothing is put on top of them as they will break.

What's great about it: The speed of transferring data using USB 3.0
What's not so great: Bulky, Needs external power
The size of the external hard drive 3TB is what I wanted, but what I was really looking for was a 3TB Go Flex that is USB 3.0. Because of it's physical size and the need to provide external power it is not made to carry around with you. I got it because there does not seem to be the equivalent in the smaller Go Flex line.
I know there is a box to check if I would recommend to a friend and I will check it yes, but I would tell them about the lack of portability and power issue.
This product has... Reliable, Fast, Quiet, draw backs because of the physical size and the n, this is not what i call portable.
About me... Budget Conscious, Work with large multimedia files, Need a simple backup solution, computer literate and research what i buy.

What's great about it: The price. The size of the bag is a good idea. I can fit most accessories comfortably for the most part.
What's not so great: It needs more padding and a bigger compartment for the 10-watt power supply, mainly the heavy thick three-pronged cord.
I really like the overall size of the bag. The compartment that the iPad fits into could use some more padding and compartments for the accessories, specifically the 10-watt power supply that has the three-pronged plug to give you the extra length does not fit the way I would like to see it. I can make it work which is the important part as I do not want to have to carry accessories separately and I really would not want a much bigger bag for an iPad.

Webroot Antivirus Subscription Expired
I have a subscription for Webroot from Best Buy that came with the computer I bought, about 2 yrs. ago, that has expired. I am not sure when, but I think it's been expired for quite some time. I would like to renew it. Is it possible to renew it online through Best Buy? Thanks!
I do not think Best Buy offers that but you can renew on the Web Root web site.

equipment drawing 5 watts, backup time?
At 200-watt draw, you have 33 min. run time. If you are only drawing 5 watts, it will be considerably longer. It looks like yours has the display that you can step through different screens and one of them will show the run time for what you have connected. Make sure the product you are using is on so it is drawing the five or so watts in order to get an accurate run time on the screen.

Cannot get this to Work
I have a Panasonic TC-L42U30 TV with an optical output. I have connected the converter but have no sound. In the instructions there is a note stating audio device's output must be changed to PCM. I cannot figure how to do that. Any help would welcomed.
We have a Panasonic TV also that only has the optical out port for sound. I have a hearing issue, wanted to have wireless headphones, and was not sure if I would be able to accomplish this but I purchased what I believe is the same Dynex converter you did and mine works fine. The way to change to PCM is in your TV’s set up. Here is the line in your manual for setting it to PCM (NTSC). “When an ATSC channel is selected, the output from the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jack will be Dolby Digital. When an NTSC
channel is selected, the output will be PCM.” This is on page 38 of your TV’s owner manual.

Will this device pass through Dolby 5.1 analog signals?
I would say no. It doesn't have enough connectors for analog Dolby 5.1 signals.
