What's great about it: Comfortable; mic built-in
What's not so great: Lacks bass
I'm not an exercise buff...I just wanted earbuds that would fit comfortably when travelling, especially on long overseas flights. I don't like on-ear or around the ear for extended wear, even though they often sound better than buds. Buds are so much more compact for travel, but I did not want to spend big bucks for Shure or Etymotic, etc. I hoped that for ~$80, the sound quality would be better that the buds that came with my old iPhone 4, or the $10-15 buds that one finds everywhere. There is perhaps a bit more sonic detail, but that may be due to the improved fit over the bargain buds. They definitely fall short on bass though. I have some cheap old Koss buds that are better in this regard. I guess I expected better from Sennheiser--a well respected brand in pro audio.

What's great about it: Built-in WiFi
What's not so great: Took several attempts to load firmware update
A good basic blu-ray player. User interface has some visual appeal, but the visual flourishes take away from intuitive operation. Connection to home wi-fi was relatively easy. After internet connection established, notification of firmware update appeared. It took almost an hour and half a dozen attempts to complete the update. Once complete, all seems fine.
I would still recommend to a friend because I would be able to caution them about the firmware update.

What's not so great: an initial flashing LED problem
Great price for a NAS. So far, I have tested reading and writing files to it both from my home network and from remote location, via Internet. Web based User Interface looks and works well. Have not put large files on it yet though.
After a few days, a yellow LED started flashing. When I first noticed this, I connected and read a file, then flashing stopped. Later, it started again, and according to manual, it meant a temperature problem. It is in a well ventilated location, so I opened web configuration page, and found a firmware update was available. Installed update, and flashing stopped. It's been about 5 days now, so I hope that fixed it.

What's great about it: Seamless transition from old cracked 4S
What's not so great: You still have to pay tax on full amount, plus "upgrade" charge
This was a replacement for daughter's cracked 4S. Overall, the 5C is a great phone with a very solid feel. Not all the power of the 5S, but I'm not so sure most users would notice (for now anyway). Best Buy had a great promo offer of "free" w/2-year commitment, but I was caught a little off-guard by having to pay sales tax on the full unsubsidized price (over $50!), and then having a $30 "upgrade" charge by Verizon on top of that. Neither of these are Best Buy's fault though. To Best Buy's credit, they did make this clear at time of purchase. Just something to keep in mind.

I have not even purchased or rented movies from iTunes yet. The included channels are nice, but there could be more. I mainly wanted an easy way to connect iPhone or MacBook to TV, so the included Airplay feature makes that happen.

I needed a way to connect a wired network printer in a room too far away from the location of the router to easily run a cable. At first I put in a WiFi extender that included an Ethernet port for the printer, but it was not as reliable a connection as I had hoped. Now it is solid.

I wanted a certain sized TV due to space restrictions. Not as many 42" LCDs out there, so nice to find one at a good price, with a good picture. A nice feature is that when cycling though the inputs, only devices that are connected and "on" are active, so switching between cable box and blu-ray is easier.

Can I get multiple downstream units?
Have a three story home, would like to set up a power line "tap" by the ISP gateway, but need more than just the one receiving unit that comes with the package. Can I get multiple receivers?
I only have two at my house, one at router location, one in bedroom/office (to connect a wired network printer). However, the user documents say that you can connect multiple Powerline adapters. The Powerline adapters are actually "transceivers" (networks communicate both directions, ie., devices "transmit" and "receive"). The Powerline kit with two adapters are actually two identical units and you can add many more (not sure maximum number, so maybe go to Netgear.com for details). The additional units don't need to be identical. Anything in the same product family will work. PS: The Powerline adapter connects to a LAN port on your gateway (router).

how does the netgear work do you have to have a computer
You do not need a computer to configure these Powerline Ethernet adapters. You just push a button on one, then push the button on the other one within a minute or two. Question is, if you don't have a computer, why would you need an Ethernet interface?

You should check to see if you have latest drivers. For more about drivers and other possible fixes, best bet is to search support areas of Netgear website (if you haven't already).

need to buy a device that will connect wifi when we go to grandma's and my granddaughter can play her ipad. no internet at her grandma's. thanks
If the iPad has built-in cellular capability, then you can use it to connect to internet, but you have to pay a cellular service provider (Verizon, AT&T, etc) for this connection. Assuming the iPad does NOT have this capability, if you have a smart phone, contact your cellular service provider and ask if your phone has wifi "hotspot" capability. Or ask about a separate mobile "wifi hotspot" device. You might be able to get a hotspot device for free, but you will have to commit to a monthly data plan for 2 years. The nice thing about iPads with cellular built-in is that you can go month-to-month for data. It might be better to sell old iPad and get one with cellular.
