What's great about it: Easy to install
What's not so great: Broke easily on larger (under rated weight) speaker
Small satellite speakers would work well on these, but if it is 6+lbs, I wouldn't trust them.

I have Bose 301 series 1 speakers. They weigh 16 lbs each. Will this mount hold them?

No. Broke with 7# speakers...
