What's great about it: Humidity Control Trays and built in ice maker. Classy look
What's not so great: No compartment for eggs
First and foremost, I am very please with my refrigerator. It is not only beautiful and classy but it has many desireable features.
1. The price was great for all the features included in this French door model.
2. The size is ideal for a single person or small family who don't require much space. I absolutly LOVE the himidity control trays. Food last longer and is fresher. The deli tray is great too! I love the way I can slide it to accomodate the other food and it too keeps my deli food fresh and lasting longer. As for the glossy finish, I don't mind it. I have no finger prints on there as I use the the handles to open/close the doors. Still, with just a little bit of water and a smooth cloth, the smudges come off easily. I love the built in ice maker! This is one of the features I looked for before purchasing my new fridge as I prefer to not have the ice dispensed.
3. Performance...the only sound I hear is from the ice dispenser every now and then.
So far, so good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What tempature should I set the freezer and refridgerater at?

I bought a used samsung and do not know what I should set the temp at
-2F for the freezer and 38F for the fridge. Those are the default settings. You can always adjust the temp.

Why don't refrigeraters come with an instalation kit for the ice maker?

Why don't refrigeraters come with an instalation kit for the ice maker? You would think they would since they cost so much.
Actually, this refrigerator has the ice maker already installed. However, you will need to purchase a water line for the ice maker. You will also need to let the water cycle a couple of time before the ice is without a funny taste. The ice maker is dispensed into an ice tray and it even has a little scoop to pick up the ice.
