Fuzzy 1080p.
Yes, I know my way around tech items. I am applying it correctly. My 55" 3D 1080p looks ten times sharper even when using the 3D.
Anything I play appears Standard Definition to me.
I bought this little guy for a bedroom for a perfect fit.
I have Vizio tv's throughout my home, and all of the others are outstanding! Vizio brand is as good or better than Samsung and Sony, TYPICALLY.
The only thing I really like about this little guy that stands out is the Amazon App button right on the included remote. This buttom sees more use than my FiOS remotes combined. All of my Vizio tv remotes came the same way. Lucky!
Good enough for a set that will barely see any use anyways.
Remote is of low quality otherwise. I project that he OK button will soon stop working. It is as loose as Mother Goose and feels ready to fall out of the remote.
If you are looking for a tv because you are expectung a clear 1080p quality picture, I suggest a better Vizio (pay a couple dollars more.)

While this device is oh-so easy to set up by using a pc or mac (required) and control from a tablet and sort-of easy from a phone (and I have the monster Note III,) it's obvious and soon finding failure is that it is a wired ethernet connection only. Yes, wire required, so unless you want to run an ethernet cable throughout your house to the router from a less used set top box, you are going to be limited on option. The 500 accesses your router via wireless connection.
I got the 350 this Father's Day and I love it. Seamless, instant connection every time wherever I am. It is literally like sitting in front of your tv with full access to your dvr as well. There is even an on-screne remote that mimics the identical one we use with Verizon Fios. So, back to why the direct line thing is bad. If your wife taps in on her mobile device, you will be watching what she is going to be watching. I am not a fan of the Housewives show... That's right. Only one channel persay can be viewed at a time. So I kick her off. We will be buying the 500 for the other dvr and stb's so she cam tap into a tv we don't use. If you have an earlier version before the 350, the manufacturer offers an upgrade program on their site. Save $. But the 350 has been on the Deal of the Day rather often (like today, June 23, 2014) at a way better discount. The app for Slingplayer is currently a one-time fee of $15 USD per device. Unless you have multiple iPads under the same itunes account or vice versa android. Get a sling box!

Well gps has come a long way. I especially love that while driving, and upon announcing a turn it will say, "Just 1/8 mile ahead, after the school, turn left onto.." Upon closer approach, a mellow tone will sound to indicate a reminder (if-you-will). You will be navigating around ten seconds after you plug this baby in. Warns red light camera intersections and such. Displays accurate speed limit if desired. So awesome. Maintains great signal strength. Lightning fast re-route/calculating. Picked it up as deal of the day @99. Retail 179. Comes with window mount, car charger and usb cord. My tomtom cant touch any feature but at least had a long cord. This one is maybe 3 feet at most. You will not regret this bad boy. Trustmeiknow...

What's great about it: Decent transfer speed, good amount of storage

I bought this online for peanuts during black friday preview for Premier Silver Members. When you buy it at the price i got it for, there are no complaints. Hold out, they continuously run deals on them throughout the holidays and sign up for best buy's deal of the day. They email you everyday the deal of the day. You can find electronic storage devices in them at least once a month. I recommend the Micro SD version that comes with the adapter cartridge if you can get it at the same price.
This product has... Reliable, Fast recording/download speed, Large capacity/good size

What's great about it: Allows to cut AROUND 30 cents from each cup of coffee
What's not so great: CAN be messy, pricey
Will not make things easier for you, just cheaper. It is very easy to replace this k-cup filter and the original k-cup holder that originally came with your Keurig. They slide in and slide out. This can be messy when you rinse the screen filter of the remaining coffee grinds, which then have to be cleaned out of the sink. Not much of the wet grinds come out when you bang it in the trash can. When it comes down to it, it should probably be cheaper, but it works. I would not pay a penny over $20.00 for it. The first one lasted about 3 years. We just bought a new one.

What's great about it: plot, cast. reynolds was a good choice and impressed me that he could handle the part that he played. nice twists.
What's not so great: No urge to see it again.
In the beginning of the movie I said to myself, "why the hell would they cast ryan reynolds to play this part?" This movie changed my opinion of his acting. Good movie. Single use though. Better rented.

To watch Netflix, you need a Netflix account. Hulu, Hulu and Amazon, Amazon Prime. All very affordable. (especially Prime.) You can also watch many movie channels with that.

Can you view the program via an Ipad that is hooked to a TV?
I found that it is not possible to view programming via DIRECTV app streaming live tv by plugging my Ipad into my tv via an A/V cable. Apparently the app is not set up for "mirroring". Does the Slingbox App allow for this type of viewing?
When viewing slingbox services via a mobile device, you must also pay for the app. Last I paid, it was $15. If you have a Samsung phone and have multiple ipads that use the same Apple id for instance, you must buy the app on Android "Google Playstore," if you have the multiple ipads inder one existing Apple id, you can buy it once on an ipad and download it to all others. When you have multiple ipads with aeparate Apple id's you must buy the app for each one. When viewing on mac or pc, the slingbox service is free. For noww....

I would like more information and how to set up Sling box
I have wireless system in my home. There are 1 desktop and 1 laptop computers with a"pad" of some type planned for Christmas. I don't have smart tvs but have three hgtv and may get a fourth for the garage or workshop. Can you help me plan how to setup a Sling box so we can take advantage of the programming and recorded content on our Dish. Can I get rid of extra Dish boxes and replace them with Sling? Thanks
Your tv need not be smart, unless you wont be linking tv directly using ethernet, etc. If using the wifi slingbox models, you may use wifi connection from another location, but it is not required. This device forwards the image from your current tv box. In most cases, it is interactive and has a virtual remote like the one at your home.

Setup issue
I have hooked up my new 350 sling box per the instructions. When I try to watch the sling box on the website it says there's an error stating If I am not the owner to contact the owner. I don't see why I should get that error I just bought it from best buy. I even tried a factory reset per the support site. Any one else have a similar issue
No, but you dk have to register the Slingbox. When you have an account you should be able to link a new slingbox. One account can use multiple. Otherwise, return it and get a new one. Its also possible the unit was returned to the store and resold to you.

1080p?
The Best Buy ad copy says 1080p in two different places ("Stunning 1080p HD programming" and "Compatible with select HD video sources up to 1080p"). How is this possible when the unit only has a Component input, rather than HDMI?
Component has ability to support 1080p but i believe at a lower refresh rate. It does not make a difference. 120hz, 60hz or 25 hz, it mostly makes a big difference when using gaming consoles online. And that won't be happening.

Can I use slingbox to replace my cable box?
Can I use slingbox to replace my cable box? Would like to get rid of my cable box from Cox and use the slingbox instead of the cable box. Is this possible? If not ,is there a product that this is possible?
Your Slingbox simply forwards your cable box image to a mobile device. If you have signal from direct coax, it would do same. You may be limited on interactive controls depending, meaning you may end up having to watch the last channel.your tv is on ie: can't change the channel

Your Slingbox will show as your tv does, up to the screen quality of the screen in which you watch it from. It is JUST LIKE hooking your cable up to your mobile device. Internet connections may very well impede quality. The best setup is ethernet plugged directly into your router. Some Sling boxes are wifi as well. All entertainment electronics is 120v. Don't know why anyone would use 240v.

What is the difference between the sling box 350 and 500.
The 500 is wireless and does not need direct ethernet cable connection to your router like the 350 does. This is the main difference.
