What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: nothing
I love this one, a friend has the original version and said that it was hard to tell if the keys were pressed she wished it was more like a keyboard. This newer version does just that, plus it has backlight which i've used more that i thought i would and am thankful it is there! The only upside to the first version is bc it is completely solid if you spill something on the keys it wont ruin it, but if youre careful this one is way worth the bit more $ it will cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: great for school
What's not so great: it can be expensive
i had been looking at this tablet, found it on sale went to a best buy to check it out. a Microsoft associate answered a bunch of questions and i walked out with a new tablet. i justified it by putting it on my bbcc and got 18 months no interest as well as i wanted/needed it for college. if i buy it now thats better than waiting a semester then wishing i had gotten it right? sale couldn't have been better timing! It does a lot of awesome stuff and im sure i dont even know 1/4 of what it can do!
I like that is is larger than my phone but smaller than a laptop, i can use te added keyboard or touch screen, its the perfect blend!
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold
About me... Budget Conscious, Student, Comfortable with technology

What's great about it: fit, and feel
What's not so great: the price
A great cover for the surface, fits beautifully. i did return it onyl because it was $40... my girlfriend sewed a cover for about $3 worth of fabric, with padding and a velcro latch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Real keys?

I can't tell from the pictures, does this keyboard have real keys (the kind that actually move down when you press them)? I have the original surface with touch keypad and find it VERY difficult to use so I am looking for something with real keys.
not sure if youve gotten an answer yet but yes it does have real keys, much better use than the original, plus it has backlight which is very handy!
