I spent a weekend with the Bose Soundlink and this piqued my interest in the mobile bluetooth speaker category. I was planning on building my own DIY portable system, as I have completed my own speakers in the past. I wanted to hear some others so I strolled in to my local BBY (not a great experience, btw) to take a gander. I was blown away at the bass extension this model produced for the size, much better than the Bose. I wanted to use this primarily in my unfinished basement while working on various projects, it fills the space without trouble with a surprising range. I'd venture a guess and say it's good up to 100 feet. Anyway, for the same price... this sounds better than the Bose and has better battery life. No brainer decision for someone considering either one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: picture quality, grandmother-easy to set up
What's not so great: sound quality, but that's the case with them all, only 2 hdmi's.
Replaced a few gaming tv's in my house with this, fit the bill. 120hz processing makes gaming on non-plasma tv's tolerable.
This product has... Easy to set up, Great value and features for the price

What's great about it: Picture quality is fine (for $), 120 hz is average
What's not so great: Input lag, LED back light bleed
This is one of the most disappointing purchases I have made in a while. I recently bought a 40" Samsung LED (UN39FH5000FXZA) to put in to a office/den/nerdery in my new home. My sole purpose of this was going to be playing video games on this TV. The 60 hz processing of the Samsung was not up to snuff, so I started to look elsewhere. Black Friday (Thursday?) came and we were driving by and saw they were open tonight (Thursday) so we stopped in. Saw this on sale for 299, thought it was the answer to my dreams. I would save $100 and gain the enhanced motion processing of the 120hz processors. Well, the 120hz is as advertised and is serviceable, however the input lag between my xbox/ps3 make games unplayable. The tv has to be set on "game mode" in order to be playable at all, which is fine. However, this causes lag in the audio which becomes so distracting that it, along with the back light bleed from the corners have made me decide to return both of them and continue looking.
For someone that isn't looking to do anything besides watch TV/Movies on, it's probably fine. But I'm spoiled and am used to my 60" plasma that blows either of these two tv's out of the water... so on my search goes...

can the "apple TV" device be used with this TV?

Yes, the AppleTV can be hooked up to most any TV that has a HDMI connection. This connection handles both HD audio/video in one connection.
