What's great about it: You cant beat the price
What's not so great: No problems
Go to picture advanced settings and turn them off, then tweak your picture to your liking. I also got a LG sound bar for 199.00 gr8 sound, to hook it up you will have to go through the ear phone jack on this TV not included, then put sound bar on portable, it gives this TV a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr8 sound.
This product has... Easy to set up, Great value and features for the price, Right number of connections, Easy to use remote control
About me... Sports enthusiast, Love to stream movies, i use this tv daily
I would recommend this to a friend!

How to connect to TV?

Is the optical cable the only way to connect to a TV? My Philips 47inch LCD TV does not have an optical port. Guess I'm returning the sound bar back to the store!
You can go through the ear phone jack, there is a port right beside the opt port then turn the sound bar to portable.

behind the subwoofer is a "panning" light. does it have be lit to work properly?

i am getting very poor "bass" output from the active woofer. do i pan it until the panning light comes on? why is the bass volume only "6"? is all the bass volume that I can expect from this model?
On the remote is a woofer level turn it all the way to 6

nb 3530a, what is the best sound mode to use?

For nb 3530a, what is the best sound mode to use? Switching between soundmodes cuts off the sound momentarily; is there a way to avoid that?
I use the loudness, make sure the TV volume is not up loud it will distort the sound
