These are perfect for my job. I wanted to install speakers in three zones throughout the house; family room, dining, and bedroom. The house was prewired, so install was very simple, but also very messy (drywall dust everywhere). The template for cutting the holes was simple to use and very accurate. They also included a paint guard, which I used. The color of the speakers is more of a off white, I picked up a can of Swiss Coffee spray paint from Kelly Moore to match the ceilings. Painting was simple, sprayed at 18 inches and you couldn't tell it didn't come that color.
Once install was completed speakers worked great! I was only intending them for music, but also hooked them up to surround sound and it has enhanced the quality of sound, although I'd temper your expectations if you are expecting Bose, Pioneer, etc quality.
I couldn't be happier with product. I would suggest though that you make sure to tighten speakers in ceiling fully and position tweeter before you put screen on, because once that screen is on I can figure out how you'd take it off with damaging it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
